Realize it's time to move on and live your life without caring what other people think.
In life we’re taught to be ourselves, but sometimes things get in the way. We’re somehow neglected growing up, we’re bullied, and in a very indirect way we think we’re taught not to shine. We begin to hold back. We begin to tell ourselves, “If I’m who I want to be I’ll be judged and ridiculed for it.”
So how do we change this?
Do we say, “Fuck it?” Well, basically… yes.
Though it’s not as easy as “1, 2, 3 I’m cured of every trauma I’ve been through” it’s important to note that you are not what you’ve been through. On top of that it’s even more important to realize that for years you probably haven’t been living for yourself.
You’ve been watching your every move out of fear of someone else. You’ve been making sure you aren’t rejected. You’ve been making sure that no one sees beneath the mask you’ve created so that they don’t accurately see who you are–for the brilliant, wonderful, and amazing person you are beneath it all.
So say fuck it. Say I’m done. Realize it’s time to move on and live your life without caring what other people think. Though, again, it’s not as easy as counting it can still be easier if you tell yourself that it’s finally time. And isn’t it time?
Change “What will they think” to “I’m living for me.”
It’s time to stop holding yourself back from the potential you know you can become.
