The Good

The “Fine” of Contemplation

The Fine of Contemplation….
Thinking.. Yes it has its place.. But as a reject test taker once told me… “Think long, think wrong.” Yes of course, thinking allows one to analyze, synthesize and draw meaning from real world happenings.. But sometimes this process is just too fickle, like a runaway train trucking along with no real conductor. The mind begins moving and has a hard time stopping under its own inertia. There have been many days where we all wish that the old brain could just, chill out and let us relax a bit. Sadly this just isn’t usually the case in our world. There is always something to think about, some new hill to climb. Some new reason to be in an emotional state… Fear, joy, pain, euphoria, elation or sorrow. However we look at it, the brain can give us many reasons to go to the heart for consolation and consultation. But when neither one is the master, who is taking care of the house… Obviously some will say, yes the mind, that’s the master, that’s it… You have arrived. The brain is the king of the soul… But others will be like, the heart.. Without it there is nothing else… Frankly the question probably can be answered when you look beyond the duality and into the truth of the matter. The truth being that we are all a part of everything. Our lives are a part of our body and our body is a part of our soul. Without a soul, there is no real happiness. Merely sorrow… When the pain of reality gets too much, the heart can shut down… Become numb and forget how to turn on… I know, because I have been through this.. This starts the self-destruction process of the soul. Something not many people ever really go through without some form of significant form of life trauma or suffering. If you don’t suffer, how can you grow… The evil in us all must be ripped out at the root…. A surface level weed whacking will just not suffice in many cases. Luckily, once these roots are plucked out, joy can occupy that space…A space where we all can become something of merit. Where every last person, who is lost can be found… There is nothing useless to the life force of this world… Not even death.. Nothing is beyond being of service to something else.. Even a bad example, sets some example of what not to do… So in essence, neither the brain nor the heart run the show in my estimation… They are coconspirators towards your success, but when you hurt or disobey their mandates… They have no choice but to feel the pain of this “reality” in full force… The only thing left, is for us to describe our own process, and choose our weapons wisely. Astrology, Tarot, and Numerology offered him a new avenue that enriched his quest of making a positive difference in other people’s lives. This holistic approach gave him a thirst for self improvement and led him to become a Tai Chi and Chi Gong practitioner; and instilled in him a deep love for nature. All his life experiences and accomplishments gave him a personal philosophy: in order to make life rewarding he needed to do his part to make the world a better place and in order to make the world a better place he needed to help others because helping others was really all about healing himself.
