The Good

You can fight your inner self or work with your inner self, but either way, you are stuck with you. There are obviously things about every single one of us that we don’t like or would like to improve. Self-esteem, as it turns out, is the most important part to actually making a change.

There isn’t anything to doing what you need to do, other than actually listening to your inner voice and not balking when it sends you down a more dangerous path than you are normally used to. Fighting your own inner spirit is a hard game to win. When we act against ourselves, we are also acting against the universe. Finding a way to love yourself is hard when you behave like this. Hence a negative cycle commences.

Time to Heal

How can the universe love someone who doesn’t really love him or herself? That’s like a river trying to accept water from the ocean when it has been damned up somewhere upstream. If the love is blocked from within, then how will it ever reach its source? Sometimes we have to take time out to heal our visceral wounds, this is true, but that should never keep us from actually loving ourselves. Just because we are hurt, doesn’t mean that we are broken. Feeling the pain of life and quitting at being a human is vastly different categories.

People are tests, not really friends in most cases. You may think you know someone or some relationship, but then it can totally change. This is the price we have to pay for being human. This world is one of change and unless we realize that not always is that change positive, can we move forward with purpose. Evil is always hunting, so make sure you are not in the crossfire; unless you really have to be. Staying spiritually true to your roots will keep you safe from harm…
