The Good

Souled Out

-

When you work on yourself, you work for yourself. When you work against yourself, you are working for someone else. This is the state of working life.

Not what job do you have, but are your efforts productive on the long-term spiritual plane of existence? I have always been proud to take jobs, which contribute, to humanity at large. I have almost never taken a job that I didn’t think help build some form of value in society. I still hold to this despite the amazing “sell out” offers, that I have received over the course of my working life. I think it’s the key to everything really. Principal over everything, if you take a job which harms other people, you are really just harming yourself in the long-term.

There are a lot of people that share their love with the world for a living, these people accrue good karma and there are people who work for companies that hurt and steal from others for a living. These people get bad karma. There is no way to get past this. The few times that I have done something just “for money” and nothing else; it has always turned out very poorly for me. It usually cost me more than I had ever expected.

Eventually, it will all cost you happiness… If you have then nothing in the wide world can save you… Money won’t buy you a new heart or a reason to want to stay engaged in life. If you sell out… You merely sell your soul… The greatest rewards in life will never cost you a thing…

Austin’s spiritual quest began at the age of 19 when his father died. This tremendous loss filled him with grief and led him down a negative land self-destructive life path. After immersing himself in the way of Psychology, Philosophy and Spirituality he discovered Meditation and the Hermetic Arts and was guided out of the darkness that had befallen him. It was precisely at this time that Austin learned a valuable life lesson about how he could help himself. He realized that the only way to make life a rich, rewarding adventure was to help others. Astrology, Tarot, and Numerology offered him a new avenue that enriched his quest of making a positive difference in other people’s lives. This holistic approach gave him a thirst for self improvement and led him to become a Tai Chi and Chi Gong practitioner; and instilled in him a deep love for nature. All his life experiences and accomplishments gave him a personal philosophy: in order to make life rewarding he needed to do his part to make the world a better place and in order to make the world a better place he needed to help others because helping others was really all about healing himself.
