The Good

Remembering The Purpose of Tomorrow

-

Today is a long reminder of how long we really are here on this plane. Sadly its usually not forever. Some would even say that this place is a paradise for the soul. On a good day, we can stroll down the street, catch a cup of tea, high five a local little trouble maker etc etc. We all want to have fun at the end of the day, but it’s really up to us to figure out what it means for us in the long-term. If we don’t figure out what our life really means, then it’s hard for us to reconcile the day’s activity into something useful.

It’s like a computer that never gets defragmented or a desktop that never gets organized on your computer. Before you know it, your pointing and clicking and can’t find any files because they are all just backed up off of the screen. It may seem redundant to clean off your desktop, or a waste of time. But if you don’t do it, something as simple as that can eventually shut down your whole operation. You won’t know where the important files are and it will take you forever just to get anything of value done, especially in terms of finding useful (memories) files that you need at a later date. This whole system, while beautifully designed, has its requirements to maintain itself… Now the whole system does rely on you to actually clean up the desktop… It’s not going to auto arrange it if it fills past capacity… Autopilot only works to a certain point… Then it breaks down. But if you remember to do your little cleaning everyday… Then your home screen is ready for any nonsensical project the bosses of life would like to throw at you… Don’t despair… It can always get better when you are not afraid to let go and throw some of that backlog into the old recycle bin…

Have a good day and clean wisely!
