Your mind has been good fun, but it’s about time you took it seriously. It want’s to know that you understand it. It wants to know that you demand it to be better than it is. It wants to show you its capacity, but are you ready to receive it? The mind is a terrible thing to space… Why don’t you understand that minutes are flying by and the years are piling up? Make those timely acquisitions worth the gold that the heavens paid to make them real.
Are you awake, or dreaming of waking up? Are you tired, or working towards being energetic. Is sleep a way forward? Can you ever get anything done while lying down? Is contemplation the sole function of the brain, or is happiness a big part of that equation as well. I know that the brain likes balance as much as the heart does. When can we be honest about our intentions and misgivings?
Do we have to be in pain, to be honest with ourselves about how much this life has forced us into being something we never thought we were? Or are we true to every moment, hopeful for every person, loving to every child and meaningful to every recipient of our speech? I can’t claim to rely on faith alone, but without it, my skills would dull and mind would weaken; acclimatizing to the rhythm of the mundane.
There is no great battle if you don’t find one. There are no motivating factors if your heart does not burn to create something better for those around you. There is no sanity if you don’t reinvent the culture. There is no peace if your heart is not peaceful. So go forth. Make your mind, shape your heart, but forget neither. They are the primary weapons in the psychological war of our age.
