Why do we consistently ridicule the space we are entitled to take up? Especially when that space is our power.
Whether you believe it or not there is power that resides within you.
No one is you.
No walking, breathing, living creature is you.
Others may have things in common with you, but no one is you. They do not share the same creative headspace. They do not grieve in the ways that you do. Who you are is entirely unique unto you.
We spend so much time hating ourselves for who we are… for how we may think, how we may feel, or even how we look. But for what reason? Why do we consistently ridicule the space we are entitled to take up? Especially when that space is our power. Because without it who would we be? We are not them. They are not us. We are, well, we. We can only ever be ourselves. And when we honor that the strength in our power grows.
