The Good

Love Thyself…

-

If you can’t get along with yourself, who can you get along with? Are you gentle with yourself? Or do you always hate and yell at yourself? The first relationship anyone will have, besides with their parents or with the heavens, is with themselves. It’s very important to show and admire self-love in others and us. This concept is pretty much lost for many who feel insecure in our society. To be yourself means to be something that seems odd or out of place. People trying to be normal, generally, have to beat themselves into submission to do so.

Learn To Love Yourself

Our society teaches us to be, basic, generic, consuming, etc. in terms of the media. They teach us poor relationships, help us to worship shallow culture, break us of our devotion to the species, allow us the time to figure out how insecure we should be; obviously, they don’t love us. But just because the tools that are trying to make money off of us don’t love us, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t love ourselves.

It’s the easiest thing to do, especially when you are happy with your direction or actions in life. The first key is to tell yourself, you know the right direction and that you trust your actions in this regard. The next step is to make everything ok by letting the nonsense of life go and living.

Lastly, up your spiritual discernment to be able to tell your emotions from others’ emotions. Don’t absorb anything you don’t like continually. Tell yourself you know the right way and the path will be laid out before you. If you get caught in the traditional fast lifestyle, you will end up somewhere quickly, but that doesn’t mean you will like that place. Nor will you be able to live there forever. Just remember to pack your spiritual belongings before you set sail in the mind. Everyone has to sharpen his or her ax periodically.
