The Good

Lost and Found

-

There is always a moment in life where we feel a bit lost or overwhelmed…

In the words of my good buddy Brian… “If you ever forget where you are at, there you are.”

This may seem like redneck wisdom… And it is, but it is ultimately the truth… How lost can you be when you are somewhere. You have a dimension to exist in… You still have a body (of some sort) and you still have a will to do something (as meager as it might be).

So, in essence, we can start by finding ourselves by where we are and then moving outward from there. Start with yourself. If you can find yourself then you will be able to find others and accept them for who they are currently and where they are on their quest.

Secondly, find your purpose… That’s a tricky one, but once you do it will lead you to number three.

Thirdly, help others find themselves… Now you can’t do this for people, but you can show them how to create meaning for themselves… Which in turn will always allow them to find something. Good or bad, everyone has to help one another with these kinds of tasks, otherwise, we would all be stuck not finding the truth.

A fate worse than death in many accounts. Truth is what we are all here for, sadly it’s in short supply….

All his life experiences and accomplishments gave him a personal philosophy: in order to make life rewarding he needed to do his part to make the world a better place and in order to make the world a better place he needed to help others because helping others was really all about healing himself.
