Why I Love Mornings


I love the stillness in the morning. As I listen to the early morning songs of the birds, with a cup of ginger tea in hand, a cool, light breeze swirls in the air. It’s a new day.

I love these moments before the hustle and bustle of the outside world. In these moments is when I feel the most connected to myself. I feel connected not only with myself, but with everything and everyone.

I love being alone with my thoughts in this place. It’s a time to sort out what is real and what is not.

A feeling of gratitude washes over me in these moments of silence, all is well. It’s a moment when I recognize who I truly am.
