The Good

Fighting With Yourself!

Fighting with yourself is one of the least productive actions in the universe. First off, who is really going to win? You are. It’s not a schizo statement, it’s more about the fact that we all seem to have to hurt ourselves to understand self-love. Which really is the hard way to go about it. We all need to help our own higher self, but how can we do that if we are stuck beating ourselves up?

We can blame our shadow side, but ultimately it’s our demons driving us into the dark action. If you are going to yell at someone, yell at your demons. I can assure you that they are more problematic than your spiritual or even shadow selves, who are just hiding behind the ego, Wizard of OZ style. There is no bogeyman in your mind. There is, however, a difficult sense of the past that the ego likes to cling to.

Letting go of The Past

If you don’t have a way to let go of past stuff, then you might want to look into it. The past is the most dangerous thing to human spiritual progress. This is because none of us have really grown up in a “spiritually balanced” age for the most part. We have grown up with a culture on the wane due to the culture failing from the old. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to the dark side.

This has destroyed us from the inside out. We must rebuild our temples, mentally, physically, metaphorically; to shield us all from the evil in this world. But instead of temples, we are busy building digital lives. Lives which won’t help our society in the long run. Forget the spiritual past and help to build our culture a new fate.
