The Good

Cook for Love

-

If there are only a few things you can do well, then you should do them and do them with all of your efforts. Heck, you may only have one known talent. But to deny that talent to the world would be sad.

I know a lot of people how are good cooks, but for one reason or another just don’t heat up a pan anymore. Most people don’t cook much anymore, myself included. But if I had a real and profound relationship with my emotional life currently I would be.

As cooking has nothing to do with a relationship of any kind, it is a form of self-nurturance. Cooking is the root of all emotional development. Think about it, even on the caveman level, cooking is very very key for any societal structure for development. We all need to eat so why not make it a time where people feel better about life? We have to cook for our own sanity.

Fall in Love With Home Cooking

Cooking is the beginning of love. Want a relationship? Maybe you should get off e-harmony and start cooking for yourself. Without cooking who are we? If we cannot cook, then there is no love in our lives. This is a hidden key for society moving forward.

With many city-bound millennials not getting any home cooked food, there is a serious problem in society right now. If nobody cares for one another enough to cook for them, then we have an issue. I tried to solve this years ago by doing a communal kitchen idea, where people could come and pay a weekly fee and get home cooked meals for a membership price. But I just don’t have the time to do it right now, nor do I want to mess with starting such a demanding business.

Perhaps someone else could get into this to help society with its emotional development. People are very reliant on eating out. This destroys community and most social bonding that deals with emotionally supporting the tribe, even if it’s a tribe of one.
